Life is just like a marathon. At the start, you are so motivated to sprint. You sprint, you ran as fast as you could. You felt that you are unbeatable, invulnerable, superb and even god-like. But soon, you found yourself not having the stamina to sprint any longer.
This is the turning point. A big battle between your spirit and your flesh.
Your flesh tells you that you need to sit down to rest. It tells you to give up, who cares anyway? Why bother sprinting or running or even carry on the marathon? It's not worth it. Let's just give up and do something comfortable and easy.
But on the other hand, your spirit tells you that you have to keep moving on. It tells you that even if you have to walk, even if you crawl, as long as you are still progressing, you'll definitely reach the end of the race. At least you've done your best to complete the marathon.
You know what? God does not care if you are the sprinter or not. He does not really care if you are the first or the last. What really matters is that you did not give up on life. You did not give up on Him. You did not give up on yourself.
What really matters is that you must always keep yourself moving even though you are moving really slow. As long as you are always doing your best to make progression. Always remember, do your best and He will do the rest.
Keep pressing in, keep on keeping on, keep moving and never give up on life, yourself and God.
