Step up 2

Yesterday I was watching Step up 2 the streets with Shaun, Hikaru, Fiona and Pris.
I read a few Step Up 2 movie reviews and they all said it isn't great at all, not worth watching it in the theaters.

I actually thought that the movie was fantastic. Its not as bad as what most movie reviews has said. But the storyline is a little too common?
BUT BUT BUT when all the dance came, I can't keep my eyes off the screen! Its really great for the dancing part of the movie.

The soundtracks are great.
After watching it you'll feel like dancing for sure and even quoting a few lines.

So this morning I went up to youtube to search for Step Up 2 videos.
Guess what did I saw!

A Thriller dance done by prisoners

The 2nd part:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6meBUjMulr0&feature=user
If you were to watch the 2nd part, at the end there was a text message from Michael Jackson to the prison warden commenting about the Prison Thriller production.

NAFA

I'VE SUCCESSFULLY ENTERED NANYANG ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS

I just got a call from the NAFA at 12:42PM @ 24th of March.
The person told me that I've successfully entered NAFA with 4 O Levels!
They will be sending the package to me soon.

THANK GOD!

20th of March!

At approximately 4PM, Potong Pasir Ave 1 Blk 113 11th floor caught fire in the master room. The fire spread up to the 12th floor.
The whole room was burnt, including the whole air-con was burnt. Window panels were all burnt/melted and fell all the way to the ground floor.

The 12th floor caught fire starting from the air-con itself and it exploded after awhile. The explosion caused the entire master room on fire too. The 13th floor had mere black smokes caught in the whole apartment thats all.

Firemen came rushing down after a call at around 4:50PM.

Around 5:10PM the fire has been extinguished.
At approximately 5:24PM the smokes and fire are all gone.

Here are some pictures taken by my handy dandy Sony Ericsson k800.

Thats all folks! Sorry that I didn't post it earlier..was busy.
And yah, THE EASTER DRAMA was great!

Singapore Most Wanted 2008

Singapore's #1 hottest Superstar ever! Mas Selamat Kastari.
He became Singapore's #1 hottest star ever in Singapore's history without even joining the Project Superstar or any Star search contests!

This is no joke okay. So how did he got out? This is the hottest question ever in Singapore history too!
Rumors says..
1. Insider's job.
2. Escaped through toilet.
3. Bribery?

So what crime did Mas Selamat Kastari done in the first place to get jailed?
He planned to hijack an SIA flight and crash the plane into Changi Airport.
His plan was found out and was arrested by the Indonesian police on Bintan island in January 2006 and then sent back to Singapore.

Next big question..
Who was on duty?
1. Prison Guards? ( mainly malaysian ciytizens)
2. Cisco police? ( also mainly Malaysians)
3. Aetos Auxillary Police? ( Old men and malaysians)
4. Police National Servicemen ? ( Eat Snake 18 year olds)
5 Gurkha Police? ( cheap labour from Nepal)
6 ISD Operatives? ( secret agents 007 1/2)
7 Divisional Police ? ( your regular 999 police car types)

Well I don't mean that Singapore's security force is lousy but, its rather amazing how this guy turn around so many obstacles to escape out!
Probably he disguised himself as a police officer with the uniform and escaped?

Anyway, on Saturday David asked me to check out http://talkingcock.com for this superstar's spoofed news.
And guess what did I get!

Imma go print this out and stick it in my wallet (*≧▽≦)
I guess his life is really over for him. Singapore's Most Wanted Man 2008.
He can't probably appear in the public anymore, he have to hide away his whole life from the world and live in the dark, hiding himself forever.

Man, I certainly wouldn't wanna end up like him hiding myself from the public forever. wooh, who would catch him alive? I bet that guy would be awarded with $22635872658725638253253 SGD? lolol (*≧▽≦)

I wonder where is he heading to? ( ̄~ ̄;)Hmmmmmmmm・・・
Well anyway, thats all folks. If you see Mas Alamak Kastari in the streets, remember to call 999, don't act hero chiong to him! kiang jiu ho, mai geh kiang!

Monday night.

Monday night, my Cell group went to Bedok's Hide Out Cafe.
Hide Out Cafe is like Mind Cafe.

Its cheap and the service there is good! Luckily David got us a discount at $5 including drinks (free flow) and Snacks.
The first few games we played were based on reaction. Of course, I didn't do well in that kind of games ( ̄へ ̄)

Anyway..the last game we played needed 2 teams. We had 16 people altogether so we split up to 2 teams, A and B.
I'm Team B!

The game we played: Guesstures: Bible Edition!

Guesstures®, Hasbro's family fovorite of split second characters now comes in a fun-filled BIBLE EDITION from Cactus Game Design, Inc.

QUICK! You only have few short seconds per word! Your four words this round are “Baptize,” “Cross,” “Moses” and “Lamb”. It looks easy, but it’s not. As soon as your team guesses the word on the card – grab it before it gets swallowed by the card-hungry Mimer-Timer™. Then hurry on to the next card!

The harder the word, the more points it’s worth.
Grab the most points to win!

Team B lost and all of us had to go get a forfeit leaf from the forfeit tree.
My forfeit was drinking 2 cups of plain water! EASY!
I think that the worst forfeit that day was Eunice's.
She had to wear a super hero costume and walk to a stranger and shout, "I am a super hero! I am here to save the day!"

phew, I'm lucky.
We all went home by 10:30PM.

Something that I would never thought of is that that night I took 853 and I dropped my wallet in the bus. I even forgot to tap out before alighting. How stupid I was!
I called my dad immediately and he gave me a short lecture and we headed to Kallang TIBS station.
The in charge there gave my dad the number to the Head Quarters.
My Dad called and we told the HQ guy the details of everything including how my wallet looked like.

(,,#゚Д゚):∴;'・,;`:ゴルァ!!
The HQ guy told us that it is not easy to find a lost item just like that. I prayed hard at that moment.
So we headed off to Yishun, the last stop where bus 853 would stop at. On the way my dad called the police post and asked where should we report lost for NRIC. The policeman told us that we don't have to report to the police but to the IC centre.

My dad told him what if someone took my IC to borrow money from the loan shark? The police was shocked and told us to head to a police post immediately. lol! that policeman was funny.

Suddenly, another call came and my dad answered it.
It was the HQ Guy (Mr. Goh). He told my dad that he found my wallet!
THANK GOD! PHEW!
We quickly told him to wait for us and not to go off first. Mr God thought that we are going by Bus or Taxi from my place to Yishun.

When I got back my wallet, everything was there! Nothing was lost at all!
Woo!

So after that we all went back home happily with my wallet found! The most important thing was my NRIC and my ATM card.
Phew.. thank God that nothing was lost and I'm glad that the person found my wallet.

What a night..

Sony VS Nintendo!

TOKYO - SONY'S handheld video game machine, the PlayStation Portable, will connect to Skype, the popular, free voice-over-Internet service, later this month in Japan after a two-month delay, the company said on Tuesday.

Skype has been available for the PSP in the US and Europe since January, allowing people to use the Net-linking portable game machine as a phone.

But it wasn't available in Japan yet because the microphone Sony Computer Entertainment Japan had planned didn't meet specifications from Skype, a division of eBay Inc, a US online auction company.

Special microphones for PSP's Skype feature will go on sale in Japan on March 19 at 2,500 yen (S$33.40) each and 4,000 yen (S$54.20) for two, and software will be upgraded a day earlier.

Headsets already on sale in overseas are being used for Skype since January, according to the video game unit of the Japanese electronics and entertainment company.

Skype says 276 million people have registered to use Skype around the world.

Tokyo-based Sony Corp. has been looking to boost offerings beyond games for the PSP, which faces stiff competition from Japanese rival Nintendo Co.'s DS handheld video game machine.

Sony recently raised its global sales forecast for the PSP for the fiscal year ending March 31, to 13 million machines from an earlier 10 million.

Nintendo, based in Kyoto, Japan, is expecting to sell 29.5 million DS machines during the same period.

Sony's PlayStation 3 home console is also struggling against the hit Nintendo Wii.

But PlayStation 3 sales are expected to pick up since the victory of the Blu-ray disc format in next-generation video that came when Toshiba said it would stop making the competing HD DVD products.

The PlayStation 3 also works as a Blu-ray player. -- AP

Skype is already getting into PSP! What more can Sony do further to beat Nintendo?
Nintendo nowadays are dying out already (In singapore). I often see people holding a PSP rather than a Nintendo DS.

People would rather get a Playstation 3 than a Nintendo Wii.
Why? its all because of the sleek Blue Ray Disc that PS3 offers! As shown in the text above, blue ray is much better than HD DVD.

Ohh I hope the blue ray's price would drop even further and hopefully it will reach Singapore in a year time in our very own home Television.
I guess Xbox 360 is out of the league already.

Heres a link to Playstation 3 VS XBox Live 360 VS Nintendo Wii!

This blog talks about the differences and gives detailed information for each of these consoles.

Ah! PSP is enough for me! I just wished that PSP could multi task..
