Today was Festival of Praise!!
ok rewind back a little.
Early in the morning 6.50am I woke up and went to school for a tiring and brain cracking day and sensation.
Finally, the day ended with chapel and it was quite a cool afternoon.
Got home and started copying Heroes into my comp. (OOPS)
Watched it a little while I relax on the bed with a fan blowing onto my face.
The day was so tiring that I suddenly felt like sleeping.
But I remembered. F.O.P was waiting for me, and I want to get 'it'
Met Kenneth, Issac and Joe to go together to Singapore Indoors Stadium.
WA LAO I TELL YOU AH..
3 of them are really buggers.. buzzing around keep aguing out of dunno what world are they from -__-;
But.. phew chilling myself down by catching a short nap on the bus before reaching the station while also grabing bits of Twisties from Issac..
Bus no.11 was the one that we must take to reach SIS
It was CROWDED LAH!
Squeezy lor..
But at least I didn't fell on anyone or neither Issac fell on me. (Phew!)
I have to strain my muscles in order to get myself standing straight and not to fall over onto someone else which was a girl beside me.
Wah heng lah.. If I really fell.. no face sia
Saw John Chew which was my ex-senior in SAS also in SASMB. Didn't talked to him but smsed him to greet him lol
Didn't know he would come for F.O.P o__o
Saw Jun Jie (not Lin Jun Jie.. but Lim Jun Jie) on the way too.
And another old friend of mine.. Jeremy! woah I tell you.. we known each other for quite a long time since 6yrs old lah! but seriously.. I don't know him well but back then before he graduated I would talk to him sometimes.
Booked seats and then wait.
The girls came..bringing a new friend.
Tian Yi asked me to talk to them then I was like.. uhh say what leh?? <___>
dunno what to say lor so I said, "first time here?" though it was very obvious .__.
Finally.. wait so so so so long it started.
I tell you.. I was Tired right?
When the songs started I sang and I felt so relieved and relaxed.
It was really the presence that I felt at that moment.
The feeling was so great that I forgotten about my tiredness and my bad flu.
Continued singing and worshipping together.
I was really amazed how God moves people from place to place and making people influencing another. The whole SIS was filled with almost ANYONE! the young, the old, indians?! REALLY! I was shocked to see indians with their traditional wear attending FOP. Not saying that I am Racist but it was really amazing to see someone like them that got influenced and stepping into the SIS to see how the FOP works.
The Sermon was great lah! Phil Pringle was funny yet he would somehow grab holds of an important factor to show us. No wonder he is an amazing person that everyone says.
Closing song.. MAN I TELL YOU! If you did not attend FOP! You HAVE TO GO!!!!!
So very very very very very high lah! jumped hopped scream shout sing praise worship altogether~ woohoo (~'o')~
Don Moen (thanks Shing for the spelling correction!)
I tell you.. to me.. in my opinion he is the best singer I ever seen or heard.
His voice can really make me feel floaty and I nearly float away into my dreams when he sang softly like a lullaby.
As title, Tiring yet rocking.
The FOP Rocked and though it was a tiring morning and afternoon, the night was strong and awakened. Everyone rocked the stage or the stadium lah!
Ahh! CRAP! its 1.30am.
Time to go!
THANK YOU
