Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Movie Title: Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen.
My movie rating: ∞

I urge anyone that loves graphics and animations to watch this. It's (insert word here).
It's insane. I really wonder how did the animators do it! According to wikipedia, 1 frame of any of the robot took them nearly 38 hours to render.

Though it has lots of graphics inside but the movie still has its good storyline and some history of the Transformers.
Every part of the movie is JAW-DROPPING.

I doubt anyone would sleep in this movie. You'll definitely have 100% concentration watching it!
It's a 2hr 30min movie so, it's better for you not to take in any drinks or popcorns, you won't it eat and you wouldn't want to go to the loo halfway.

Every part of the movie, the plot, the storyline, the graphics, the concept, IT'S AMAZING.

I might watch it the 2nd time if I can.

Transformers > Star Trek

July

It's July already.

Can't wait for the job to start and the pay to come! HAHA
Gonna buy clothes and shoes and hopefully I could get some MJ albums in my hands.

Can't wait for school to start! I wonder what are we going to learn in the Graphic Design module?

I was about to fall sick yesterday, luckily it was only 37.1 degrees when I checked. Maybe it was the Panadols I ate that helped.

Almost everyone is sick nowadays. Fever, flu, cough, sore throat.
I wonder when will the H1N1 end!

In Denmark, they've already created a vaccine for H1N1!
COPENHAGEN - Danish health officials on Monday reported the first case of resistance to Tamiflu, considered to be the most effective treatment for H1N1 flu by the World Health Organization.

The Danish national is no longer suffering from the illness and is not displaying symptoms, the Danish Institute of Serology said in a statement.

After resisting treatment with Tamiflu, the patient was given another type of medication, Relenza, made by British pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline.

Hopefully it becomes a stable vaccine just like what happened during the Sars outbreak.

Gone Too Soon.

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop. 1958~2009

It's a waste to see another music legend gone just like that!

Elvis Presley (42), died due to drug abuse.
James Brown (73), died of pneumonia.

The Beatles:
John Lennon (40), murdered.
George Harrison (58), died of cancer.

Michael Jackson (50), died of Cardiac Arrest.

I think that Michael Jackson was more than just a performer but someone that really showed care and concern for the unfortunate children around the world. He did a lot of humanitarian work with the amount of money earned.

He is the pop culture, the music legend, the king of pop and whats more, the smoothest dancer ever.

Thriller, being the top selling album throughout history has sold more than 100 million copies thoughout the whole world.

He had sold more than 750 million albums world wide.

The legacy he left behind throughout his career has influenced singers such as Usher, Justine Timberlake, Britney Spears, Akon, Will.I.am and even Lady Gaga.

Who haven't heard of the song Thriller? Billie Jean? Bad? Beat It? Smooth Criminal? And even Man in the Mirror.

Ah well, anyway, he's dead and his albums are definitely much more expensive than before. I hope I can get hold of each and every album as time goes by!

Oh yeah, one last thing, take a look at this site to look at the amount of newspaper having Michael Jackson as the headline news. Check it out!

Cast Away Day 1

ET Cast Away
Camp Edition
Location: St. John's Island

Woke up at 7am, prepared everything for the day and rushed down to take the train with Ravi. Reached Marina Bay at 8.20am and we finished up putting in the bamboo for our Team Flag in 5 mins!
( ̄▽ ̄)

Set off at 8.45am to take the bus to the harbor. Reached St. John's Island at around 9.15am.
The camp started off with briefing and then to our bunks!

We've got more girls than guys this time, 1 bunk for guys and 3 bunks for girls. Yeah, so you can imagine how many more girls than guys there were. Oh yeah, had a chance to become part-time photographer! So fun to see people doing their cheers and water bombs while I'm taking pictures of them doing it.

But.

It's kinda disappointing that I can't stay overnight!!!
It's also very disappointing that so many people can't go!
It was fun but I still feel that something is amiss.
What a waste! Can't really enjoy with the rest and I can't enjoy the night session at all.
(*´ο`*)

But!

I got good news from Jared that I can stay till 10pm tomorrow before the last boat leaves. I hope I can at least get to enjoy one night session!

Anyway, I'm in Team Elijah (Ravi's team)!
The cheers are led by Alicia! And the assistant team leader is Seow Ting!
Many thanks to the both of them helping out so much in the team!
ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ

We've won every single match in every station! The games this time round was really crazy to the max. We really enjoyed playing the games especially the water games!
O(≧∇≦)O

Yeah here are some pictures that I took on my way back home. I'll be rushing down to Marina Bay again to catch the ferry to St. John's Island.

Looking forward to Day 2.

Songs of Solomon.

DISCLAIMER
Yup, this is for the sake of those that had missed out the bible study. I want to make this clear! What I typed here may not be exactly the same as what Pastor Kong or Pastor Tan had preached! It's typed here according to the notes I've taken down and some parts that I've remembered. So, I apologise in advance for whatever mistakes I may have done here.

The bible study of Songs of Solomon, it's divided into 5 parts.
Part 1: Initial Love (1:2-2:7)
Part 2: Faltering Love (2:8-3:5)
Part 3: Growing Love (3:6-5:1)
Part 4: Transforming Love (5:2-7:13)
Part 5: Maturing Love (8:1-8:14)

In the first part, it is about the initial love.
As said in the previous post, the bible study is approached from God's perspective which is now the believer (Shulamite Woman) and God (Solomon).

As you read from SOS 1:2-4, it is all about the sweet love, the loving relationship, the first love, the initial love. It is all wonderful and beautiful.

But as you begin to read verse 5 & 6, it says "because I am dark..the sun has tanned me."
This part is about believers that had burned out and worned out due to excessive serving and neglecting his or her own walk with God.

Then it moves on to the part where it talked about keeping vineyards which represents serving in the church. Then it says, "But my own vineyard I have not kept".

This is saying about the believer after accepting Christ, fully on fire for God and had gone into serving the church by joining a ministry. But to the point that the believer had been neglecting his/her ownself. In other words, the believer had became dry.

Then as the story goes on, it talks about the believer seeking the Lord once again.

Do you have the disernment to call out, to cry out to God when you are dry?

As you begin to read further to verse 7 onwards, "Tell me, O you whom I love". This part is showing that the believer is running towards the initial love again. He/she had finally stepped back in and the period of dryness is over.

In 2:3, "I sat down in his shade with great delight, And his fruit was sweet to my taste." You see! Now the believer is wanting God even more, he/she is showing even more graditute, love and delight.

Here comes the interesting part. As you read further in verse 4, it says "his banner over me was love" Now you see, Solomon is begining to react to the Shulamite.

In this part, it says that the Shulamite was staying inside of the house. Why? Because she does not want to be tanned again. She is afraid of serving due to her past experiences.

This is the part which says that often believers as they come back from backsliding, they often stay in their comfort zone and not serve anymore. They will usually stop serving even when they are already ready.

But then, God says in 2:11 "For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone."
Do you get what it says? The winter is referring to the period of loneliness and dryness where you think God is not loving you and not helping you and you are all alone.

"The rain is over and gone." The period of dryness and loneliess is already gone! But why are you still staying in the house? Come out of it and enjoy!

God will not slow down and will not wait for you. We have to leave our 'wall' and keep walking in order to catch up.

Sometimes, believers have to ask themselves this question: Is my spiritual walk shining brighter with God?
Our walk must keep progressing! It must be progressive and it must never be stagnant.
Stagnant water breeds mosquitoes!

We must learn to balance our lives and never go into extremes.
Balance is the key.

It is during winter and rain where we are being tested. Trials and persecution would definitely come. It is more than the self-pity and the sadness.
Now that the rain is over and gone here comes spring.

Winter: Time to soften the ground and nothing happens.
Spring: Time to sing, dance and enjoy the beauty.

It is only during the 'winter' that God can mould you!
When someone cries easily simply singing praise and worship, when someone cries easily when someone encourage them with a few words. Or even crying after watching a movie, they are the things which shows that this person is going through a tough time.

Everything that we go through, it's identifying the same stage as Jesus Christ had experienced.
He first started off having lots of happiness in his ministry and then leading to crucifixion then to the resurrection. So, we will definitely experience resurrection too!

I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, the LORD,
Who call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel. - Isiah 4:3

You see, not every darkness, wilderness, winter that we go through are all because of Satan or devil. Why? Because God allows us to go through this in order for us to learn, to grow, to become better.

It is like a Dad allowing his child to ride on a two wheeled bike when the Dad knows that the child will definitely fall and bleed. But in order for the child himself/herself to learn how to ride a bike, he/she must definitely go through it.

Yeah, thats all for now.
Woo! Its super wordy sia. Okay, I'm done. :D

ET Cast Away

Yeah! Finally it's here! ET Cast Away - Camp Edition!
I just can't wait to go for the camp.

I sure hope that I could go for the camp because I don't want to miss out anything at all!

Oh yeah, tomorrow is celebrity weekend and I can't wait to see famous pop stars coming up on stage! I bet all of us would really enjoy their performances. Oh! And one more thing, I can't wait for Steamboat! HEH.

Songs of Solomon

For the past 3 weeks including this week, we all had a church wide bible study with Pst Kong himself! The message is really really powerful. The context is based on the Songs of Solomon for this bible study.

Basically, in the Songs of Solomon, it is a love story between a man and a woman. It is also approached as a relationship between a believer and God himself. In other words, narrating the Songs of Solomon from God's perspective.

The constuction of the story is basically a relationship between a believer and God.
In the first part of the story, it is about christians that had burned out and worned out due to excessive serving, excessive involvements etc.

Part 1: Initial love (1:2-2:7)
Part 2: Faltering love (2:8-3:5)
Part 3: Growing love (3:6-5:1)
Part 4: Transforming love (5:2-7:13)
Part 5: Mature love (8:1-8-14)

Here are some of the points that I want to share.

Conversion deals with the Penalty of sin.
Sanctification deals with the Power of sin.
Glorification deals with the Presence of sin.

The 5 pains that we will go through:
1. The pain of discipline.
2. The pain of seperation (from friends).
3. The pain of disappointment.
4. The pain of obedience.
5. The pain of accusation.

Don't be a fireworks christian!
(Fireworks: Pops up quick and dies quick.)

Meekness, Dedication, Great humility is important in your walk.
The moment you are borned again, does not mean you are perfect!
It is one thing to be called and to be a saint.
God responds relationaly, not formulas and rules or regulations.
Leadership is always the problem but they are also the solution.
It's one thing to see God as a Saviour and another to see him as Lord.

God is more interested in your Character than your Comfort.

You don't need to be a theologian to know if God is real. It is like you having a Degree in Computer Science but you do not have any experience doing it and feeling it yourself, you will never know the feelings of those that had been there.

Baby Christians: Thin Skin and Thick Heart.
They are easily offended.

Mature Christians: Thick Skin and Thin Heart.
These are the ones that can endure trials, tests and the worst of times. With a thin heart, then only God would be able to speak easily.

You can never dictate the timing of the works of God.

It is better to give than to receive.

I don't know about you but I am surely impacted by this.
Sometimes, I just feel so tired, felt that things are not going well. But now that I know, I'll definitely keep moving on.

Oh yeah, I just can't wait for lesson 4 and 5.

Boys-Before-Flowers

Finally! I'm done with it. Finally finished watching it. 25 Episodes and now I'm looking forward to watch the Japanese version (Hana Yori Dango) with Oguri Shun acting in it!

Overall, I think the drama is fantastic. Despite Koo Hye Sun (Geum Jan Di) being too exaggerated, I think the rest of the F4 actors are great, especially Kim Hyun Joong (Yoon Ji Hoo)!

I kinda like the ending very much.
Hmm, maybe I should watch the Taiwan version some time!
Hana Yori Dango, the original manga title, I'm gonna watch it!

Watch Boys Before Flowers if you are a Korean Drama hardcore fan!

Vibration.

"Physics represents the beautiful harmonies of nature. Chemistry represents the melodies played on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings. The mind of God, would be cosmic music created by vibrating strings resonating in hyper space." ~Michio Kaku
I was watching Discovery Science channel and theres this short advertisement about Science itself. I've seen this many times and didn't had the chance to take down word by word. I guess, science itself is never the answer to everything.

As we all know, the smallest particle is Atom. Atom is made up of neutrons, protons and electrons. But what made neutrons, protons and elections? The theory behind it is that inside these small particles inside an Atom are made up of tiny vibrating "rubber bands" or "strings". Turning clockwise would be one charge, turning anti-clockwise would be another.

Personally, I love this part where it says, "cosmic music created by vibrating strings resonating in hyper space". When we speak, vibration is produced. When God speaks, what is produced? Vibration?

If so, then whatever He says creates a cosmic vibration, a cosmic music, a vibrating string that resonates and thus comes creation?

Then what if we pray out loud? Does it produce the same? Creating our cosmic music and would it resonate in hyper space thus creating what we were praying for? If so, I would grab hold of this revelation and pray! Keep speaking positive things that will happen! Keep calling out!

Lets create our very own cosmic music.
Create Revival, Breakthroughs & Miracles.
