"Chiong-Only"

What is the meaning of my "chiong only"? It may seem simple and insignificant to you but:
Chiong means to scrape through, to push through, to stretch, to stay strong and firm, to do your best, to manage time, to balance, to survive, to endure, to persevere, to trust in God to me.

Maybe some of you seen the word "chiong-only" in my MSN, but this is what I really meant by chiong only.
I believe that if I were to put my life in balance between God, Family and Friends, I would definitely do well. But its easier to say than to be done. If you were to ask me if did I falter, did I find myself useless, did I find myself not being able to cope, did I find myself hopeless, did I find myself dry and faithless. I can tell you, been there and gone through it.

But there is always one thing in my mind, to just scrape through everything, doing what I can do best and leave the rest up to God. You may laugh at what I write about my belief but that is how I managed to scrape through and balanced everything for the year 2008.

I would always refer to a verse from the bible - Galatians 6:9
It says:

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a
harvest if we do not give up

I find that this verse is very important to me, even if I had to scrape to the point that I left only bones, I would still carry on dragging and pulling myself in the walk with God.
This verse really illuminates myself and also encouraged me to pull through also known to me as my "chiong-only".

If you were to ask me if I would choose the deadly option of backsliding, I can tell you, never.
I wouldn't know whats going to happen in the future. But all I can do is to do my best in every single thing I do, and leave the rest to God.

All I can do right now is to pray hard and fast. Fast for 2 days? No, I would even fast till the day I left skin and bones to see you back.

Woot! Jared and Jer Blinn subzone combine steamboat @ Tian Tian Huo Guo Bugis!

We all definitely had a great time eating and laughing together. At least I ate till I'm totally bloated.

Everyone thought we can just leave right after we are full, but the leaders all had tricks up their sleeves. They came up with a Tom Yam eating competition!

After all the eating and 'bloatation' , we proceed to Starbucks! Jared, Dannon, Jason, Eric Sim, Darwin, Shaun, Hong Xiang and me went to City Hall starbucks to have our dreamy caffine drink!

14 Years Later.

I really had a good time after the first day. We all had great time together, especially with my cousins! The funny thing is that I'm 19 this year, my cousin on the left (the guy) is 20, the cousin on the right (the girl) is 21! (ya that kid is my brother).

Our birthdays is: 08 june (mine), 11 sept (the guy), 9 Aug (the girl)

Its all so coinsidental!

Yep, great CNY 09' and here comes all the homework and sleepless nights doing homework.

I hope I can pull through this year completing every assignments and projects and hoping to get a 'A' !
